Christmas Open House
Featuring our beautiful, one-of-a-kind Christmas tree decorated with hundreds of hand-cut paper ornaments by local artist Bonnie Grove; a charming Victorian Christmas parlor with late 19th & early 20th century holiday decorations and toys; and other exhibits including “Toys from the Attic,” and “Chillicothe’s Model Railroad.” The event will also present an opportunity to see our current exhibit in the McKell Library titled “Samplers and Needlework.” Enjoy traditional holiday music and browse the Museum Store for special holiday gifts including many books and other hard-to-find publications on local and regional history for those history buffs on your shopping list.
